摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic voltage regulator that can promptly follow a set value when a generator voltage minutely varies and also when the voltage largely varies. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic voltage regulator comprises: an adder 22 that outputs a differential signalΔV between an output voltage of a generator 1 and a control target voltage of the generator; an integrator 25 that outputs an integrated signal by integrating the differential signalΔV; an exciting current estimator 27 that outputs an estimated exciting current signal by estimating an exciting current that the generator requires based on the output voltage and an output current of the generator; and an exciting current control means 30 that controls the exciting current of the generator based on the differential signalΔV, the integrated signal and the estimated exciting current signal. Since the exciting current is controlled by estimating exciting current excitation required by the generator by the current estimator 27, an integration time constant of the integrator 25 can be increased, a variation in the generator voltage can be restrained, the control signal can be prevented from being excessively large or small temporarily, and an excessive amount of the generator voltage deviating from a target value can be restrained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
