<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for reporting the accurate remaining number of times of variable display by transmitting a variable display remaining number-of-times command from a main board to a sub board at the time of restoration from power interruption. <P>SOLUTION: In this game machine, the main board 100 is provided with a special game state control means for performing control to be in a special game state until the variable display is executed for the special number of times when a special condition is established, a number-of-times storage means for storing the number of times of execution, and a control command transmission means for transmitting number-of-times setting control information and variable display start control information. A display control board 90 is provided with a number-of-times information storage means for storing the remaining number of times of the special number of times, a number-of-times information setting means for setting the special number of times, a number-of-times information updating means for updating number-of-times information, a number-of-times reporting means for reporting and directing the remaining number of times. A control information transmission means is provided with a restoration time command transmission means for transmitting restoration time number-of-times control information specifying the remaining number of times at the time of power supply.
