TRIARYLSILYL(METH)ACRYLOYL-CONTAINING POLYMER FOR MARINE COATING MATERIAL COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polymer having an erosion rate in seawater and improved flexibility, suitable for binders of antifouling marine coating materials. SOLUTION: This polymer is a ternary copolymer expressed by the formula: ä-[A]-[B]-} [[A] is 9-20 mol.% of XSiR3(R3are same or different (substituted) aryl group or (substituted) heteroaryl group, X is an acryloxy or methacryloxy residue ) and [B] is at least two different ethylenic unsaturated residues copolymeriable with the [A]].
