PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projector which has a light source, a lens function part and a hologram function part and which has a small size and in which alignment of optical axes of the lens function part and the hologram function part is unnecessary. SOLUTION: This projector is an image projector which is equipped with a light source using a semiconductor laser 1 and a lens incorporated hologram element 6 in which the lens function part for performing condensing of light and the hologram function part in which an image for reproduction is stored are formed while their optical axes are aligned and the image projector is characterized in that a reproduced image is obtained by irradiating the hologram function part with laser beams from the semiconductor laser 1.
