PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain wall which has frame members formed of an aluminum alloy, wherein the amount of the aluminum alloy of the frame members is suppressed to reduce manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the curtain wall, a concrete main body 7 forming the curtain wall 4 has recessed grooves 10 directly formed in inner surfaces of side sections 8, respectively, for bearing side edges of a glass panel 6a. That is, according to the curtain wall, the frame members for bearing the glass panel 6a is arranged only at both upper and lower edges of the concrete main body.
