PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake control device capable of smoothly lowering a wheel cylinder pressure accompanied by lowering of a master cylinder pressure in a structure wherein a brake hydraulic pressure in a wheel cylinder can be maintained. SOLUTION: This brake control device is provided with a master cylinder pressure detecting means for detecting the master cylinder pressure. A control means outputs a valve opening instruction with respect to a pressure reduction control valve when change of the master cylinder pressure to reduction is detected by the master cylinder detection means.
