PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laying type coil winder capable of preventing generation of scratches owing to contact between wire rods and a guide tube on the surface of wire products and on the inner wall of the guide tube as well as accelerating coil winding speed of the wire rods. SOLUTION: The laying type coil winder 1 is characterized in that the winder is provided with an induction tube 2 which introduces and passes wire rods W rolled via a finish rolling mill or the like, and a spiral guide tube 4 which is rotatably provided successively in the induction tube 2 while delivering the wire rods W passed through to the outside in a coil form. In order to decrease frictional resistance between the surface of the wire rods and the inner wall of the guide tube 4 when the wire rods W pass through the inside of the guide tube 4, an injection nozzle 3a capable of injecting a lubricant is structurally provided in the induction tube 2.
