PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a grating by which a welder to be used for welding can be downsized, the capacity of impressed current is made small to reduce cost, and the mutual interval of main bars can be made small. SOLUTION: A plurality of cross bars 2 disposed in the circular state are shifted in this longitudinal direction while rotating in the peripheral direction and also, one of main bar 3 is continuously supplied from the tangential direction to each cross bar 2. This crossed part is resistance-welded in order while winding the main bar with the cross bars 2 disposed as the circular-state, and after forming a cylindrical grating body 7, this cylindrical grating body 7 is cut-opened along the longitudinal direction so as to form as a flat-platy state.
