PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out safe transfer of precision machine parts by simplifying cutting of shock absorbing sheets. SOLUTION: This cutting device is composed of a cutter 21 guided by a guide track supported by a surface plate 1 to advance and retract, and a groove 22 recessed to be directed in advancing/retracting directions of the cutter 21. The cutter 21 has a tip part 33 protruded into the groove 22 over a surface plate surface 5. Between the groove 22 and the tip part 33, a gap 26 is formed. A rear point of a blade edge 27 positioned ahead of the tip part 33 is positioned at a deeper position relative to the groove 22 over a forward point of the blade edge 27. The cutter 21 cuts the shock absorbing sheet that is expansively deformed. The tip part is formed to pull the shock absorbing sheet that is expansively deformed into the groove 22 while cutting the shock absorbing sheet smoothly and sharply by the blade edge formed ahead to be sharp.
