<p>The angular velocity sensor is of a micro-mechanical type, configured for Coriolis measurement of acceleration forces. The calibration device has a first unit for applying a first acceleration to a first vibrating unit (100) in a primary direction (102) and a second acceleration in a secondary direction (104); a unit for compensating deflection of the vibrating unit in primary and secondary directions and; a unit for provision of frequency information. The device units are used to excite the vibrating unit in a manner analogous to rotation of a body. Independent claims are also included for three associated calibration or re-calibration device and four associated calibration or re-calibration methods.</p> |
