<p>The injection molding piston-screw drive train, is supported in the region between the plasticizing screw shaft (4) and the end section facing the screw, of the spindle drive (8) component producing displacement. This support allows movement in the axial direction of the screw, independently of the rotary drive (2), on a radial bearing (14) in a linear guide (16) fixed to the casing (7) of the displacement- (i.e. stroke-producing) drive (1). The support (14, 16), which is independent of the rotary drive, is near the end of the drive component (12) which moves in displacement, and which faces the piston-screw. This component driving displacement, is the spindle drive (8) shaft (12). The displacement drive (1) is located between the plasticizing cylinder (3) containing the plasticizing screw, and the rotary drive (2). The linear guide (16) is supported at one end on the casing (7) of the displacement drive (1) and at the other, on the plasticizing cylinder. The displacement- and rotary drives (1, 2) are coaxial with each other and with the plasticizing screw. For the two drives, electrical hollow shaft motors (5, 6) are employed, either or both being speed-controlled. The spindle drive is constructed as a recirculating ball unit.</p> |
