SCAN TYPE CONVERTING DEVICE AND A SCAN TYPE CONVERTING METHOD TO SIMULTANEOUSLY DRIVE DISPLAY DEVICES USING INTER-DIFFERENT SCAN TYPES

PURPOSE: A scan type converting device and a scan type converting method are provided to generate interlaced scan data and progressive scan data which are mutually synchronized and simultaneously drive display devices using inter-different scan types. CONSTITUTION: An IPC(Interlaced to Progressive Conversion circuit)(210) converts the first interlaced scan data into progressive scan data. A PIC(Progressive to Interlaced Conversion circuit)(220) connects to the IPC, and converts the progressive scan data into the second interlaced scan data. The IPC converts the first interlaced scan data into the progressive scan data using one of a bob method and a weave method.
