<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit accurate data through an optical data transmission network which performs data transmission between terminals through an optical path comprising an optical fiber, an optical amplifier, an optical switch, etc., even if a transmission processing means and a reception processing means of the terminal are dynamically changed. <P>SOLUTION: The optical data transmission network is equipped with: a transmission processing means of converting data of the terminal into communication data for network transmission; a means of converting the communication data from an electric signal to an optical signal; the optical path which transmits the communication data; a means of converting the communication data passed through the optical path from an optical signal to an electric signal; and a reception processing means of receiving the converted communication data and transferring it to the terminal, wherein the transmission processing means is equipped with a transmission speed control means for the communication data and the reception processing means is equipped with a reception speed control means. Then the optical data transmission network sends and receives speed control data for changing a transmission speed and a reception speed between the transmission speed control means and reception speed control means to determine the transmission speed of the communication data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
