<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sanitarily and stably adjust the centesis depth for a long period of time without any need of troublesome maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: This centesis device 1 which moves a centesis element 21 retained in a housing 3 in the centesis direction N1 and punctures it 21 in the skin is provided with a centesis depth adjusting mechanism for adjusting the centesis depth of the centesis device 21 relative to the skin.
