<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing member for a flat cable capable of enhancing workability when a flat cable is fixed to a fixed body, e.g. a chassis. <P>SOLUTION: A flat cable 2 is provided with a flat cable fixing member having a fixing member body 5 being fixed to a flat cable 2 while surrounding it and the fixing member body 5 is fixed to the flat cable 2 under temporary stopping state where longitudinal movement of the flat cable 2 is allowed. The fixing member for a flat cable comprises a securing means 8 consisting of a first plate 6 and a second plate 7 engaging each other such that they can move from the temporary stopping state to the actual stopping state and securing the fixing member body 5 to the flat cable 2 while pinching the flat cable 2 when the first plate 6 and the second plate 7 are in the actual stopping state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
