<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating apparatus of a film heating type in which a film 109a and a pressure body 109b are prevented from increasing in temperature only in particular parts of them in a case where the temperature detection means in a system for heating a heating means 109c without rotating the heating apparatus is malfunctioned and supply of power from a power supply means is repeated in order to cause the heating means to generate heat. <P>SOLUTION: In a case where power of a predetermined level is supplied from the power supply means without rotating a pressure body when the initial temperature of a heating means detected by a temperature detection means before the heating apparatus is started is equal to or lower than the first predetermined temperature, if a change in the temperature detected by the temperature detection means cannot be detected even after a first predetermined time has elapsed or if the temperature detected by the temperature detection means is equal to or lower than a second predetermined temperature after the first predetermined time has elapsed, the pressure body is rotated only for a second predetermined time right after the supply of power by the power supply means is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
