<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strap clasp device to be mounted on a strap hung on the neck which makes the part contacting the neck so mobile as to fit sufficiently on the neck and achieves a higher safety to avoid accidents even when the division of two parts fails for any reason. <P>SOLUTION: One clasp member fixed at one end of the strap is connected to the other clasp member fixed at the other end of the strap through a central clasp member so that one and the other clasp members are detachably engaged with the central clasp member separately while the engagement of the individual clasp members is done so as to make the mutual positional relationship variable. Thus, when the specified tensile force works on the strap, the engagement of one and the other clasp members with the central clasp member is released to separate the strap therefrom. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
