PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical path regulating lens and a condensing apparatus using the lens in which the propagation direction of emitting light from the emitting face can be kept almost constant with respect to all incident angles on the entrance face. SOLUTION: The condensing part 2 of the optical path regulating lens 1 has a pair of projections 3 like a twin tower composed of curved faces in the symmetric positions on the entrance side, opened in the center and having a recessed form in the view of the emission face, and has ice pillar like part 4 converging and protruding to the emission face side in the boundary part with the adjacent other condensing part 2, making an M-shape as a whole. The condensing apparatus 11 is constituted of: an upper lens group 12 consisting of the above optical path regulating lens 1 disposed like a dome in the view along the north-south direction; a front lens group 13 consisting of the optical path regulating lens 1 disposed like a dome as a a side wall near the equator; a reflector 14 installed at a specified angle in the opposite side to the equator side; and a heat accumulating tank 15 disposed below and inside the apparatus. The incident light from the upper and equator sides is condensed by the upper lens group 12 and the front lens group 13 onto the heat accumulating tank 15, while the condensed light not entering the heat accumulating tank 15 is guided by the reflector 14 to reach the heat accumulating tank 15. As a result, the incident light with the incident angles varying with time can be extremely efficiently regulated to an almost constant direction all day from sunrise to sunset.
