PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field work support device capable of calculating accurately the relative position between a projection means and a work object and the attitude. SOLUTION: The approximate relative position and the attitude of the object is estimated by an object position attitude estimation part 6 by collating object image data acquired by photographing the object by a camera 1 with object data in an equipment model database 5. Marker graphics to be projected by a projector 2 onto the region where the estimated object exists are generated by a marker image generation part 7, and projected by the projector 2. The marker graphics projected onto the object is photographed, and the relative position between the object and the projector 2 and the attitude are calculated highly accurately by an object position attitude determination calculation part 8 by comparing the photographed marker graphics with the projected marker graphics.
