PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal coupling possible to be arranged in a small space between two rotary shafts arranged opposite to each other, and capable of absorbing sufficiently relative displacement of the two rotary shafts. SOLUTION: This universal coupling connects two rotary shafts 10 and 20 arranged on the nearly same axis opposite to each other, allowing relative displacement, through a connecting member 30. The connecting member 30 has an inner ring part 31 to be fitted to one rotary shaft 10, an outer ring part 32 to be fitted to the other rotary shaft 20, and a spring part 32 extended in the circumferential direction between the inner ring and the outer ring to connect the inner ring part to the outer ring part.
