<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily decide a modulation scheme for the requirement of using a demodulation scheme corresponding to a modulation scheme when demodulating a signal in a receiver. <P>SOLUTION: The receiving apparatus comprises a plurality of error determining parts 20, 30, 40, 50 which include demodulating parts 22, 32, 42, 52 for demodulating a received signal with BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM, ideal signal generating parts 24, 34, 44, 54 each for generating an ideal signal resulting from restoring the received signal on the basis of the outputs of the demodulation parts, and error measuring parts 26, 36, 46, 56 each for measuring an error between the received signal and the ideal signal, and which are provided for each demodulation scheme, and an optimal demodulation scheme deciding part 60 for deciding that a demodulation scheme to be used for demodulation is an optimal demodulation scheme in the error determining part having the error measuring part which outputs the minimum error. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
