<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing instrument wherein when a user replaces an inner cotton, a jig such as tweezers is unnecessary and the hands are hardly stained. <P>SOLUTION: In the writing instrument, wherein the ink-absorbed inner cotton 30 is stored in a shaft cylinder 10, and a tail end part of a pen body 20 fitted on the apex opening of the shaft cylinder is inserted into the apex part of the inner cotton, and a tail plug 40 is fitted in the tail end opening of the shaft cylinder, the apex part of the inner cotton is held by a guide rib 14 on the inner face of the shaft cylinder, and the tail end part of the inner cotton is held by the tail plug, and the inner cotton holding force of the tail plug is made larger than the sum of the inner cotton holding force of the guide rib of the shaft cylinder and a contact resistance between the inner cotton and the pen body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
