<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte film with high productivity, low cost, and excellent durability in the case of operation as a fuel cell, by solving the problem of permeation of methanol or swelling when used as a direct methanol type fuel cell (DMFC). <P>SOLUTION: The electrolyte film is formed by filling cross-linked polymers having an epoxy-group-containing compound or an oxetanyl-group-containing compound as a component substance into pores of a porous base material.
