<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wrong pointing operations when pointing the same displayed image by using two or more pointing devices. <P>SOLUTION: This information display system has an information processor (PC) 1, a projector 21 which can show the information stored in the PC 1 on a displayed image 23, and two or more pointing devices 3a, 3b which can indicate arbitrary positions on the displayed image 23. Each of the pointing devices 3a and 3b has a pointing participating means 36 for making the necessary process to register itself in the PC 1. The PC 1 has a pointing operation accepting means 15 which verifies the authentication of the devices 3a, 3b according to the information from their pointing participating means 36 and carries out their registration as one of its functions when the authentication is decided to be approvable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
