<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thinner sheet-shaped organic EL display device. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL display device comprises a substrate (51) serving as both a protection layer preventing inward permeation of moisture and oxygen and a film supporting layer, a stack formed on a foundation layer (13) including a thin film circuit layer (20) carrying an electric circuit, and an organic EL light-emitting layer (30) carrying an organic EL light emitter, and an adhesion layer (41) jointing the stack and the substrate.
