CHARACTER STRING INPUT SUPPORT PROGRAM AND CHARACTER STRING INPUT DEVICE AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily input a standardized character string.

SOLUTION: A character string input support program includes a step for accepting the input of an unconverted character string; a step for accepting a conversion command for the unconverted character string; a step for providing in response to the conversion command a display urging the selection of a plurality of conversion candidate databases in which character strings of conversion candidates are stored in advance; a step for accepting a command to select one of the conversion candidate databases; a step for referring to the conversion command database selected according to the conversion candidate database selection command, and presenting the character string of conversion candidates included in the conversion candidate database; a step for accepting the conversion candidate character string selection command; and a step for providing to the other predetermined program the character string of conversion candidates selected according to a command to select a character string of conversion candidates.
