<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program for selecting a medicine matching to resistant bacteria, a storage medium with the program stored, and a system for selecting a medicine matching to resistant bacteria which can conduct the so-called "tailor-made" inspection, and can suppress the spread of resistant bacteria by the administration of a small quantity of antibiotic. <P>SOLUTION: The program has a database corresponding to medicines in which the genetic types of resistant bacteria, and medicines which are effective to genetic types and including at least an antibiotic are enumerated, a genetic type entry means, a medicine-retrieving means, a screening means, and a result output means. The genetic type entry means inputs the genetic type of bacterium of inspection object, and then notifies the medicine-retrieving means of it. The medicine-retrieving means retrieves a medicine, matching the notified genetic type from the database corresponding to the medicines, and the result output means outputs the retrieved medicine in a prescribed form.
