<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain prevention of an increase in a total data amount of a video stream, reduction in a wait time until reproduction of a newly selected video stream is started, and switching of the video stream at an optional point of time. <P>SOLUTION: A video stream switching system for switching a plurality of video streams and transmitting the switched video stream, includes: a video stream read means 101 for reading a plurality of the video streams; a video stream storage means 102 for storing the video streams read by the video stream read means; and a video stream control means 103 for controlling the switching of the video streams so as to transmit the video streams read from the video stream read means after the video streams stored in the video stream storage means are read from the video stream storage means and transmitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
