PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave absorber that can prevent a communication failure due to reflection of electromagnetic wave or the like and can be made small in thickness and light in weight. SOLUTION: The radio wave absorber constituted of a laminate of a cycle slot structural surface 1 wherein a slot is cyclically formed on the conductor surface of a metal or the like, a dielectric layer 2 and at least a transmission line 3, is characterised in that the transmission line 3 is connected with the cycle slot structural surface 1 by means of a resistance 4 with a specified resistance value. Thus, a communication failure due to reflection of electromagnetic wave or the like can be prevented, and the radio wave absorber can be made smaller in thickness and lighter in weight than heretofore.
