PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously satisfy a request for power generation of a generator driven by a displacement type supercharger arranged in an intake passage and a request for suction air quantity of an engine. SOLUTION: This power generation output control device is provided with the displacement type supercharger 4 arranged in the intake passage 2, the generator 4a driven by the displacement type supercharger 4, a bypass passage 3 for bypassing the upstream and downstream sides of the displacement type supercharger 4 of the intake passage 2, a bypass valve 6 capable of opening-closing communication of the bypass passage 3, a means 10 for detecting a rotating speed of the displacement type supercharger 4, and a bypass valve control means 9 for opening the bypass valve 6, when the rotating speed of the displacement type supercharger 4 becomes a high rotating speed reducing in power generation efficiency of the generator 4a.
