PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction water making device easy to handle and capable of making reduction water without taking much time only by permitting water to be treated to pass. SOLUTION: This reducing water making device 1 is mounted, for example, on the mouth part (b) of a container 100 and includes a cylindrical case 3 having an inflow port 31, in which the water in the container flows, at one end part thereof and an outflow port 32, which allows treated water to flow out, at the other end part thereof. The first chamber 35 on the side of the inflow port 31 and the second chamber 36 on the side of the outflow port 32 are demarcated and formed in the cylindrical case 3 by a water permeable partition wall 37 and end walls 33 and 34. A ceramic granular material 4, which is formed by sintering a fine powder based on granite porphyry, and both of a granular material 5 of magnesium and a granular material 6 of calcium sulfite being a dechlorinating agent are respectively charged in the first and second chambers 35 and 36 so as to be partitioned by the partition wall 37.
