PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a liquid crystal display device and capable of accurately applying a specified amount of a liquid crystal. SOLUTION: The production apparatus has a liquid crystal application means 10 with an inkjet head 20, a means 120 for measuring the amount of a liquid crystal applied, a control means 130 which outputs an additional application signal including the amount of additional application of the liquid crystal when the application amount of the liquid crystal measured by the measuring means 120 is smaller than the specified amount, and an additional application means 10 for the liquid crystal. Preferably, a temperature adjustment means for the liquid crystal is installed on a table on which the application means 10, the additional application means 10, and a substrate 48 are placed.
