PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply, easily and smoothly use a toothpaste by extruding it, and to effectively prevent the toothpaste from being extruded at the time of carrying when not being used. SOLUTION: This toothbrush is equipped with a mounted brush section 1 at the distal end of a main body section 2. The main body section 2 is equipped with a cylinder 4 having a filling compartment 3 inside, an external cylinder 5 which is connected to the outside of the cylinder 4 in a manner to be movable in the axial direction, a piston 6 which extrudes the toothpaste 20 which fills the filling compartment 3, and an elastic body 10 which elastically presses the piston 6 and the external cylinder 5 to the rear side of the cylinder 4. The piston 6 is connected with the external cylinder 5 by projecting a rod section 7 at the rear end from the rear end of the cylinder 4. When the external cylinder 5 is pressed to the front side of the cylinder 4, the external cylinder 5 makes the piston 6 go forward, and the toothpaste 20 in the filling compartment 3 is extruded to a brush section 15 by passing through an discharging path 17 of the mounted brush section 1.
