PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor brush equipped with a rotary brush of which the productivity and the rotating balance are increased. SOLUTION: A shaft insertion hole 36 equipped with a shaft passing hole section 31 and thinned recessed sections 35 which are continuously formed from the shaft passing hole section 31 is provided so as to penetrate the shaft, on a brush base 14 at a space between both end parts in the axial direction. A shaft 32 which is inserted in the shaft insertion hole 36 is held while making contact with at three parts in cross sectional location or more on the internal surface of a supporting section 37 for the shaft insertion hole 36. A frictional force between the external surface of the shaft 32 and the internal surface of the supporting section 37 for the shaft insertion hole 36 is suppressed. Thus, the productivity can be increased by facilitating the insertion of the shaft 32 into the shaft passing hole section 31. Also, the external peripheral surface of the shaft 32 is surely held on the internal surface of the shaft insertion hole 36, and the rotating balance can be increased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
