METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OFFERING SERVICE USING PERSONAL CHARACTERISTIC INFORMATION AND ANALYZING RESULT STORED IN SMART CARD

PURPOSE: A method and a system for offering a service using personal characteristic information stored in a smart card are provided to offer a client with the service fit to a characteristic of each gene by receiving personal genetic information read from the smart card and extracting the characteristic linked with the personal genetic information. CONSTITUTION: The smart card(100) is equipped with an ICC(IC Chip) recording the personal genetic information. An interface device(105) reads the personal genetic information from the smart card. A database stores/manages the characteristic of each gene matched with the personal genetic information by linking with the genetic information. A service providing server(110) receives the personal genetic information from the interface device, extracts the matched characteristic from the database based on the personal genetic information, and provides the service fit to the extracted characteristic of each gene.
