<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell assembly in which a metal felt does not exist between fuel cells. <P>SOLUTION: Rows (14, 25) of fuel cells (17, 19, 21, 27, 29, 31) each having an outer interconnection part (20) and an outer electrode (32) are arranged adjacent to each other so that a corrugated conductive expanded metal mesh member (22) may be interposed between each rows. The corrugated mesh member (22) has a top crown and a bottom shoulder portion and at the top crown (40), a top bonded continuous open cell foam nickel (51) which contacts the outer interconnection part (20) of the fuel cell is provided, and the mesh member and the foam nickel connect electrically each row of the fuel cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
