<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bacterial cell preparation composition combined with an antibacterial substance without affecting the bacterial cells( viable bacteria ) such as by sundry germs or deactivation. <P>SOLUTION: The bacterial cell preparation composition comprises (A) bacterial cells coated with a water-soluble substance insoluble or sparingly soluble to organic solvent or oil such as pullulan and (B) a cresol such as creosote and/or a constituent thereof like guaiacol, 4-ethylguaiacol, creosol, o-cresol or p-cresol, and/or a phenol derivative such as phenol or a xylenol. Since the viable bacteria are coated with the above-mentioned substance, there is neither concern for being affected by the antibacterial substance in this composition nor concern for being affected by temperature( that is, having high heat resistance ). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
