<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of providing information to users easily, and provide an information providing method. <P>SOLUTION: An advertisement support system as the information providing system is equipped with an advertisement support server 1, an advertisement support database 2 and a terminal 4 for advertisement preparing trader, etc., which are connected via a communication network 3. Moreover, the advertisement support server 1 stores advertisement information concerned with advertisements to be displayed on advertising displays 7 and contents concerned with advertisement information in the advertisement support database 2.
