<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a vibration incident to a variation in driving force to a drive shaft, and to suppress overcharge and overdischarge of a power storage device, e.g. a secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: A target torque Tr* being outputted to a drive shaft, i.e. a ring gear shaft, is set by determining a torque upper/lower limit Trt for limiting the variation per specified time of the target torque Tr* in such a trend where the variation decreases as the vehicle speed V increases and becomes smaller for a smaller absolute value of a previous target torque Tr* (S160, S170). Consequently, a power being outputted to the ring gear shaft can be varied smoothly and overcharge and overdischarge of the battery can be suppressed by suppressing an abrupt change in a torque command Tm2*. Furthermore, vibration of a mounted apparatus can be suppressed because positive/negative switching of the driving force of the ring gear shaft is performed smoothly. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
