<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently supply proper control programs according to the configuration of individual sub-devices in a music device such as electronic organ. <P>SOLUTION: The music device is configured by connecting a main device 1 for controlling the entire operation to a plurality of sub-devices 2a to 2d, 3a, 3b for realizing individual musical functions in accordance with the control programs supplied from the main device. The sub-devices 2a to 2d, 3a, 3b differ in configuration from each other, and a control program storage part 1B of the main device 1 stores a plurality of control programs made corresponding to various sub-devices corresponding to the various configurations.
