OPTICAL ELEMENT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element of high productivity wherein the number of components is reduced.

SOLUTION: The optical element includes a lens 11 made of transparent material which can be press-molded at a temperature T1, an optical thin film 13 made of material which can be press-molded at a temperature T2 and a base material 12 made of transparent material which deforms neither at the temperature T1 nor at the temperature T2. The lens 11 is directly joined at least one of the base material 12 and the optical thin film 13, and the optical thin film 13 is directly joined to at least one of the base material 12 and the lens 11.
