METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONVERTING WASTE PLASTIC INTO FUEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for converting a waste plastic into a fuel which permits conversion of the waste plastic into a slurry while ensuring a mixing ratio to an oil component, permits slurry transportation with enhanced fluidity without causing clogging in a transportation pipe and can be put to practical use using large-scaled facilities, and an apparatus therefor.

SOLUTION: The method for converting the waste plastic into the fuel comprises roughly crushing by means of a roughly crushing machine 3 and subsequently finely crushing by means of a finely crushing machine 6 the waste plastic, then mixing the crushed product with the oil component in a mixing tank 9 to form a mixed fuel slurry and feeding the mixed fuel slurry to a gasification furnace while adjusting the viscosity of the slurry by heating it in a heating furnace 12.
