SOLUTION: This control method includes a step for computing real engine torque on the basis of intake load ratio, which is based on the intake pipe pressure of an engine, and engine speed, a step for computing reference road slope on the basis of the real engine torque (S100), a step for computing real acceleration of a vehicle on the basis of the number of revolution of an output shaft (S200), a step for computing the road slope on the basis of the reference road slope and the real acceleration of the vehicle (S300), a step for computing engine torque ratio on the basis of the real engine torque/reference engine torque (S400), and a step for carrying out up-slope control (S600) when the road slope is larger than a value obtained by subtracting highland correction slope corresponding to the engine torque ratio from the up-slope control start determination slop based on the reference torque (YES in S500).
