PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an additive for the molding of a resin having a function to increase the viscosity in molding, a resin material produced by adding the additive to the resin to be molded, and a molded resin article composed of the resin material. SOLUTION: The additive for the molding of the resin contains a polymer component and a compatibilizing agent. The compatibilizing agent is selected e.g. from an ionomer-based compatibilizing agent, an oxazoline-based compatibilizing agent, an elastomer-based compatibilizing agent, a reactive compatibilizing agent and a copolymer-based compatibilizing agent. The resin material is produced by adding the additive for the molding of resin to the resin to be molded, and the molded resin article is composed of the resin material.
