PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone apparatus with a card-shaped display capable of widening the area of a display portion as needed, keeping its portability. SOLUTION: The portable telephone apparatus 10 with a card-shaped display is provided with a portable telephone 11 having a first display portion 12, and the card-shaped display 20 which is united to the portable telephone 11 so as to be detachable freely, and has a display body 21 and a second display portion 22 fitted to the display body 21. The portable telephone 11 and the card-shaped display 20 are connected electrically.
