PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact probe for a dental optical diagnosis apparatus having a simple structure and good operability. SOLUTION: The probe for the dental optical diagnosis apparatus is provided with an optical-fiber or a bulk constitution for acquiring a diagnosis signal so as to acquire a surface image of a tooth and an optical tomography image in a selected region, a means coupled to an end of a manual arm or an articulated arm and having an end abutting on the tooth and whose position is controlled, a means for wirelessly transmitting the diagnosis signal, a means for linearly polarizing, a means based on a cylindrical shape or a pistol shape, an external cover of the probe and a mechanism for preventing a blur during a diagnosis.
