POWDER COMBUSTION DEVICE AND POWDER COMBUSTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder combustion device capable of satisfactorily burning a combustible powder having a relatively large average grain size and also easy to miniaturize. SOLUTION: This powder combustion device comprises a burner for burning a combustible powder in a sub-combustion chamber partitioned by a cylindrical casing closed at one longitudinal end. The casing has a burner throat formed on the circumferential wall and a partitioning plate capable of forming a weir adjacently to the burner throat closer to the opening end from the forming position of the burner throat. The burner has a first passage for introducing the combustible powder with a carrying gas, and it can be installed to the burner throat to inject the combustible powder to the circumferential direction along the inside surface of the casing.
