PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating plant adaptable to air-condition a room and cool a refrigerator or a freezer, reducing its cost by using a compressor of a fixed capacity type corresponding to air conditioning load, while securing the reliability of the fixed capacity compressor corresponding to the air conditioning load. SOLUTION: In a refrigerant circuit 1E, there are provided an inverter compressor 2A and a first non-inverter compressor 2B corresponding to the cooling load of a refrigerating unit 1C and a second non-inverter compressor 2C corresponding to the air conditioning load of an indoor unit 1B. A controller 80 starts or stops the second non-inverter compressor 2C depending on the air conditioning load. During a time from stopping the second non-converter compressor 2C to the passage of a prohibiting time, a start prohibiting part of the controller 80 prohibits the start of the second non-inverter compressor 2C.
