PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve to be used for a large valve having a large diameter without largely increasing coil capacity of an electromagnetic coil. SOLUTION: A fixed iron core 3 is fixed inside a coil bobbin 20, and a movable iron core 4 is movably arranged opposite to the fixed core 3, and a plunger spring 5 is provided to be shrunken between the movable iron core 4 and the fixed iron core 3. The movable iron core 4 and a valve element 9 for opening/ closing a valve seat hole 7 are separately formed from each other, and connected to each other by a joint spring S. The joint spring S has spring force weaker than that of the plunger spring 5 and weaker than closing force by the fluid pressure to be applied to the valve element 9 in the valve closing condition.
