PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selector valve for a water purifier capable of always discharging purified water which rarely contains saprophytes by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A selector chamber R1 in which a feedout port 11b feeding out raw water to the purifier, a purified water port 11c to which the purified water flows from the purifier, and a raw water port 11a are opened is formed at the generally center part of a valve body 11. A selector valve element 12 moving between the feedout port 11b and the raw water port 11c without closing the raw water port 11a and coming in contact with a first valve seat 14a is disposed in the selector chamber R1. The selector valve element 12 is fitted to the inner end of a valve stem 12a moved forward and backward by a selector handle 12b. The valve stem 12a is pivotally supported at the center of a support tube 13 fixedly inserted into the selector chamber R1 and forming a second valve seat 14b and a communication chamber R3 communicating with the raw water port 11a. A distribution chamber R2 communicating with the selector chamber R1 through the feedout port 11b is formed at the lower part of the valve body 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
